The association's 2nd biennial Two Tooth Ewe competition will be run in conjunction with the tour.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The tour will start in Cheviot on Wednesday 24th of March and will include five studs and seven flocks in North Canterbury finishing in Christchurch on the first day.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The second day will cover a further three studs and five flocks from Yaldhurst and up the Waimakariri and back down the north bank of the Rakaia stopping overnight in Methven.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The final day will commence on the Canterbury plains, travel up the Ashburton Gorge and include an optional trip through Lake Stream to the South Bank of the Rakaia valley.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The tour will conclude with a prize giving for the Flock competition in Methven followed by a tour dinner.&amp;nbsp; In all nine studs and seventeen flocks will be visited covering a diverse range of country and Merinos.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Inspection of rams will commence at 1pm. The auction will be held at 3pm.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There will be 18 stud and selected merino rams for sale. This sale is an industry shop window. Rams will be from Armidale, Bendigo, Blairich, Grays Hills, Lauder, Malvern Downs Poll, Malvern Downs, Moutere, Nine Mile and Stonehenge.&lt;/p&gt;

The conference will be hosted by the Bergerie Nationale, a model farm, and current presidential residence. Bergerie Nationale is home to a merino flock maintained since their arrival from Spain in 1786.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p align="left"&gt;&lt;font size="2"&gt;The New Zealand Merino Stud Breeders Society has appointed specialist rural travel agent Farm to Farm Tours to organise a New Zealand tour group. The tour may work in with the Australian Association of Stud Merino Breeders. The Australians are proposing a number of optional study programs including&amp;nbsp;pre-conference trips to France, Spain and Portugal and post-conference trips to Italy or Romania and Germany.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
